Paris AOHS Announces Summer Health Camp

Paris High School – Academy of Health Sciences (PHS-AOHS) in conjunction with Bourbon Community Hospital, Maysville Community & Technical College, and North Central Kentucky Area Health Education Center (North Central KY AHEC) will be hosting a 3-Day Summer Health Careers Camp July 24 - 26, 2013 to be held at Paris High School and Bourbon Community Hospital. Paris Boys’ Middle School Soccer Team Captures NCKSC Title

Congratulations to the MS boys soccer team who finished NCKSC conference play as the only undefeated team at 10-0-1 and won both the regular season and tournament championships. The Hounds are 13-0-2 overall. Paris will finish up its 2013 schedule this coming week with non-conference games against Grant Co. and participation in the Frankfort Invitational Tournament on Saturday May 18th. Band Sponsors Fundraiser!

The Paris Band is selling chances to win a pair of 2013-2014 Lower Arena UK vs. Louisville Basketball AND Football tickets! Money raised will purchase a sound system for the band. Tickets can be purchased in the high school office or by contacting Jordan Williams, Band Director, at jordan.williams@paris.kyschools.us. Tickets are one for $10 or three for $25. High Expectations for Students
Paris Independent Schools has a long history of providing an excellent education for the children of Paris. Our goal is for all students to graduate with a strong foundation in education as well as life-long appreciation of learning. All Paris schools meet the accreditation requirements of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Paris High School has been accredited since 1915. All teachers have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited program as required by state law. The majority of our staff have master degrees or above.
