Tristan Wilson Named Commended Student by NMSC
||Mrs. Dailey, PHS Principal, announced today that Tristan Wilson has been named a Commended Student in the 2015 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, will be presented by the principal to this scholastically talented senior. Paris Recognizes Employees with Awards
||Assistant Principal Mrs. Bertha Johnson was the recipient of the prestigious Spirit of Education Award presented at the District Luncheon held Tuesday, August 12, 2014. Presenting the award is Former Paris High School Principal, Mr. Ernie Trosper.

High Expectations for Students
Paris Independent Schools has a long history of providing an excellent education for the children of Paris. Our goal is for all students to graduate with a strong foundation in education as well as life-long appreciation of learning. All Paris schools meet the accreditation requirements of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Paris High School has been accredited since 1915. All teachers have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited program as required by state law. The majority of our staff have master degrees or above.
