Greyhounds Win 40th District Championship!

AOHS Announces 2015 Summer Camp
||Paris High School – Academy of Health Sciences (PHS-AOHS) in conjunction with Bourbon Community Hospital, Maysville Community & Technical College- Donald Kiser Paris extension, and North Central Kentucky Area Health Education Center (North Central KY AHEC) the will be hosting a 2-Day Summer Health Careers Camp to be held at Paris High School and Bourbon Community Hospital on July 24-25, 2015. Coach Cary Barr Inducted into Hall of Fame
|LOUISVILLE – “I consider this to be a very high honor to have received this award. Coaching baseball has been a big part of my life for the past 37 years. I share this honor with so many players and assistant coaches. God has blessed me with so many talented players and I owe all that I receive to him.”
Those were the words of Greyhound Head Baseball Coach Cary Barr after he was inducted into the Kentucky Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame on Saturday, January 17, 2015 in Louisville. Click here to read the entire press release.
High Expectations for Students
Paris Independent Schools has a long history of providing an excellent education for the children of Paris. Our goal is for all students to graduate with a strong foundation in education as well as life-long appreciation of learning. All Paris schools meet the accreditation requirements of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Paris High School has been accredited since 1915. All teachers have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited program as required by state law. The majority of our staff have master degrees or above.
